How to Test Notifications
- In Settings → Notifications, click the “Send Test Notification” option for any template.
- Enter your email address or phone number to preview the message.
- Review how it appears and check for typos or formatting issues.
Troubleshooting Checklist
- Is the notification enabled?
- Does the customer’s order have a valid email or phone number?
- Was the correct status/action taken to trigger the notification?
- Check the order timeline for a record of sent notifications.
- For email: Check your spam/junk folder if not received.
- For SMS: Verify the phone number is correct and SMS is supported on your plan.
Common Issues
- Notification not sent: Double-check if the template is enabled and the order details are complete.
- Wrong content or formatting: Edit and save your template, then re-test.
- Customer not receiving SMS: Make sure their phone number is entered in international format and your plan includes SMS.
