Scheduling: Calendar and Timeslots

Alpaca gives your customers a simple, intuitive way to reserve their pickup or delivery window.

How it works:

  • After selecting pickup or delivery, customers see a calendar of available dates.
  • They can pick a date, then choose from available timeslots (e.g., 10:00–11:00am, 3–4pm).
  • Unavailable or fully-booked slots are hidden or grayed out.
  • Timeslot options reflect your custom schedules and capacity rules.

You control:

  • Which days/times are bookable
  • Maximum orders per slot
  • Minimum advance notice before a timeslot is available
  • Blocked dates for holidays or closures

Customer benefits:

  • Book only when you’re actually available
  • Get instant confirmation of their reserved slot

Troubleshooting:
If customers aren’t seeing the expected timeslots:

  • Double-check your schedules in Alpaca’s settings
  • Ensure the location is enabled for pickup or delivery
  • Check for blocked dates or fully-booked slots
