Pickup Capacity and Limits
Manage your store’s workload by setting limits on how many pickup orders you accept per day or per timeslot.
Setting Capacity
- Go to Settings → Pickups in Alpaca.
- For each schedule, set the maximum orders per timeslot (e.g., only 3 pickups per 30-minute window).
- To limit daily pickups for a location, set a daily maximum in the location settings.
Why Use Capacity Limits?
- Prevent overbooking during busy hours.
- Give your staff time to prepare each order.
- Spread out pickups for a smooth customer experience.
Pro Tip:
If a timeslot or day reaches its limit, customers won’t be able to book that time.
