Initial Setup Wizard

After installing Alpaca, you’ll be guided through the initial setup wizard. This helps you configure key settings and get your store ready for curbside pickup, local delivery, or shipping.

What the Setup Wizard Covers

  1. Connect your locations
    Alpaca will sync your active Shopify locations. You can enable or disable pickup, delivery, or shipping for each.

  2. Set up schedules
    Define the days and times you want to offer pickup and/or delivery. You can add multiple schedules per location if needed.

  3. Configure rates
    Choose how much to charge for pickup, delivery, or shipping. Set rates by distance, postal code, or offer free options.

  4. Customize notifications
    Personalize the emails and SMS messages your customers receive.

  5. Preview the storefront widget
    See how Alpaca’s pickup and delivery selector will appear to your customers.

Tips

  • You can revisit and update these settings at any time from the Alpaca dashboard.
  • If you skip a step, you’ll see reminders to finish setup before going live.
