First Steps Checklist
Use this checklist to get Alpaca up and running fast!
- Install Alpaca from the Shopify App Store
- Complete the setup wizard to connect locations and set basic options
- Enable pickup, delivery, and/or shipping for at least one location
- Set your pickup and delivery schedules
- Configure rates (free, flat, or distance-based)
- Customize notification templates for your brand (logo, colors, wording)
- Test the customer experience
- Add a product to cart, select a fulfillment method, and go through checkout
- Confirm that you receive order notifications
- Review orders in the Alpaca dashboard and try updating statuses
- Train your staff on the new fulfillment workflow
Ready to go live?
- Announce your new pickup or delivery options to customers!
- Monitor orders and make adjustments as needed.
