Setting up shipping rates & zones

How Shipping Works for Customers

When shipping is enabled, customers will see a “Shipping” option at checkout, along with any pickup or delivery options you offer.

Customer Experience:

  1. Select Shipping
    On the cart page or during checkout, customers choose “Shipping” as their delivery method.

  2. Enter Address
    Customers provide their shipping address. Alpaca checks which rates apply based on your shipping zones.

  3. View Available Rates
    Customers see your shipping options and costs. This could be a flat rate, free shipping, or a rate based on price, weight, or region.

  4. Place Order
    Shipping details are included in their confirmation and any automated notifications you enable.

Note:
Shipping can be offered at any location you enable for shipping in Alpaca. If you want to restrict shipping to certain areas or products, you can do so in your settings.
