Setting Up Pickup Locations and Schedules

With Alpaca, you can enable curbside pickup at any of your locations, set up custom schedules, and control how customers book their timeslots.

1. Enable Pickup for Locations

  • Go to the Locations page in Alpaca.
  • Use the toggle to enable Pickup for the locations you want.

2. Create Pickup Schedules

  • Go to Settings → Pickups in the Alpaca dashboard.
  • Click Add Schedule.
  • Set days of the week, start/end times, and timeslot intervals (e.g., 15, 30, or 60 minutes).
  • Limit the number of pickups per timeslot if needed.
  • Assign the schedule to specific locations.
  • Save your changes.

3. Add Blocked Dates (Optional)

  • Prevent pickups on holidays or special days by blocking dates in Settings → Pickups.

4. Test the Customer Flow

  • Add a product to cart on your store.
  • Try the pickup selection and scheduling process as a customer would see it.

Notes

  • Each location can have multiple schedules.
  • You can also set a minimum order amount for pickup.
